The Sebring Lions have packed and shipped over 1500 pounds of items to Baghdad to a trauma Hospital where our soldiers are recouperating. Also, have shipped boxes to soldiers serving either in Iraq or Afganistan.

Fishing Derby for kids 2-12, Saturday, June 7th - register at 10 am. Catch and Release at Copeland Oaks on S. 15th St. Follow signs. Prizes and food at noon.

Workers need for bingo, fireman's festival from 7 to 11 at the firestation May 27-30th.

Workers for bingo and concession stands at the Mile Branch Festival July 24, 25, 26th. Call Fetters for more info.

Lion Amee Rice has collected $5914.00 in pennies and her goal is $8,000.00 for a pilot dog. Collect your pennies and give them to Amee. Thanks To Alliance Lions for all the pennies/monies you have collected and donated to Amee to help her with her project.

Activities :

For the past 28 years the Sebring Lions has provided the following services to the community.

We provide 4 college scholarships to 2 local schools.

We provide eye exams and glasses for those in need.

Annual downtown halloween parade and costume judging.

Provide the food for the October Funfest in the park.

Ring the bell for the Salvation Army.

We send boxes (care packages) to our troops in Iraq. 1500# have been sent so far. It's a joint project between the Lions and the American Legion in Sebring.

Weeding flower beds downtown and Veterans Memorial

Adopt a Grandparent program at local nursing home

Helping Lions Club with 4th of July, Grange Fair, Rose Day, Fireman's Festival, Vintage Baseball held by the City of Sebring and Octoberfest.
